Some specific advantages of the CAR-BER weld test tool are as follows:
• Enables compliance to ASME B31.1 & B31.3 codes and performance is substantiated with engineering reports.
• CAR-BER test tools are non-destructive, do not damage the interior walls of pipes / vessels and accommodate the testing of sizes from .75through 60 inches and all pipe schedules.
• Flexibility of application allows testing on weld neck flanges, socket weld flanges, slip-on flanges, welded unions, welded tees, 90o elbows, boiler tubes, exchanger tubes, and many other configurations.
• The small volume of testing medium required translates to very little contained energy resulting in a fail-safe, extremely accurate and environmentally friendly system.
• The light weight tool reduces the need for expensive cranes, exposure to injury and eliminates the need for heavy pressure blanks.
• It reduces the time required for repairs and testing of welded connections.
